Meet Dr. Meier

Dr. Meier was born and raised in central Ohio. He completed his undergraduate education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1993. He continued his dental training as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, completing an Advanced General Dentistry Residency at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California. Following his three years of practicing general dentistry as a Captain in the United States Air Force, Dr. Meier chose a career as an orthodontist and completed a two-year Specialty Orthodontic Training Program at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Meier is recognized as being among the top 1% of Invisalign practitioners in North America and is one of the first Invisalign Elite and Invisalign Teen Providers in our area.
This revolutionary orthodontic treatment system allows eligible teens and adults to continue their daily lives with a minimum of interruption or discomfort due to traditional orthodontics. The Invisalign system is an alternative to traditional braces and uses a custom-designed series of clear, comfortable aligners or “trays” to gradually straighten teeth. Dr. Meier also works closely with a range of dental professionals. He gives frequent lectures to local dentists on current orthodontic treatments and hosts study clubs for local dentists to present topics and discuss difficult cases. Dr. Meier is proud to be a part of this amazing community.
He and his team feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful area and strive to support the people and organizations that make the northern palm beaches our own little paradise. Dr. Meier not only contributes to our local schools by providing supplies like homework folders and agendas, but also works closely with the local schools and teachers. He is frequently invited to speak with classes regarding topics on oral hygiene, nutrition, science and math, and how he uses these subjects every day in his job. He offers internships each year to high school and college students interested in the dental field, providing the opportunity for them to learn valuable life skills and develop a good work ethic. Dr. Meier enjoys giving back to the community, and in particular, is an avid supporter of the local recreational leagues, the Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association (PBGYAA) and the Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association (JTAA).
You will frequently see festivals thrown by Dr. Meier and his staff at various youth recreational league sporting events. By focusing his sponsorship in these areas, Dr. Meier believes he is able to provide significant benefit to each and touch the lives of many children in our community at some point in their childhood. Dr. Meier is the past president of the Northern Palm Beach County Dental Society and an active member of the Southern Association of Orthodontists. He is a member at Jupiter First Church. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, kite boarding, spear fishing, scuba diving, fishing, and snow skiing.
