What Is DentalMonitoring?

DentalMonitoring is a cutting-edge remote monitoring platform that allows us to check on your orthodontic progress in real time — without requiring you to come into the office for every check-up. Using a free mobile app and a special scan box (which we’ll provide), you’ll take weekly photos of your teeth, which are securely sent to our team through the app.

These scans are analyzed using AI technology to identify even the smallest changes in tooth movement. Our doctors review the data and send personalized feedback, letting you know how things are going and whether any adjustments are needed.

This means we can monitor your treatment closely, respond to issues faster, and ensure you’re progressing exactly as planned — no matter where you are.

How It Works

Getting started with DentalMonitoring is simple, and we’ll walk you through every step:

Download the App: Once you begin treatment, we’ll help you download the DentalMonitoring app onto your smartphone. It’s free, easy to use, and compatible with both iOS and Android devices.
Use the ScanBox at Home: We’ll give you a ScanBox and cheek retractors to use when taking your weekly scans. The app walks you through exactly how to take the right angles and images. It usually takes just 2–3 minutes per scan.
Submit Scans for Review: Your scans are uploaded automatically through the app to our secure platform, where they’re analyzed by DentalMonitoring’s advanced AI and reviewed by our orthodontists.
Receive Real-Time Feedback: Based on your scans, we’ll let you know if you’re right on track, if you can move to your next aligner (for Invisalign patients), or if we need to make a small adjustment to keep things progressing smoothly.

This process repeats weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your treatment plan — giving you consistent oversight without constant office visits.
